S4H is run by Jonathan (Jonny) Cope.

Author of the best-selling series 'How to Play the Didgeridoo' (available in book and CD and now DVD formats) Jonathan Cope has played didgeridoo for over fifteen years, both solo and with other musicians. He is available for Australia-themed events, gigs, demonstrations, corporate events, session work, school visits, etc. To discuss your specific needs please call or e-mail.

Having studied with several well-known international players and Australian Aboriginal Elders, Jonathan has been teaching all levels of this increasingly popular instrument for the past nine years. Teaching ranges from private one-to-one sessions to group workshops, which have been held at Gaunts House, ‘Didjin’ Devon’, Didj Fest, and several venues in Central London.

A lifetime fascination with rare and unusual sounds has also led Jonathan to seek many vocal techniques and instruments that can be used to soothe body, mind, and soul. Scientific studies have confirmed the many benefits of music and sound, particularly their ability to combat stress and allow the body to self-regulate and heal itself. Having studied for many years with leading exponents in these varied techniques  has led to qualifications in Sound Therapy and Jonathan is a professional trainer and educator.

Jonathan plays a variety of world-music instruments, often rare and unusual, gives performances, talks and workshops.

The S4H shop was created to allow more people to discover the wonderful effects of these instruments and we like to specialise in instruments that are not difficult to learn to play and be accessed by many.

Please note that this website, my Ebay and Amazon shops and more are all run by just me alone to keep costs down. I am also a musician who must perform sometimes or attend festivals so please be patient if I sometimes seem a little slow - I may be away for a day or two!

Many thanks for all your support!
